Gift Aid

How can we increase the value of your donation by at least 25% under the Gift Aid scheme if you are a UK taxpayer at no additional cost to you?

This is how!

Gift Aid is a Government scheme that enables charities to claim the basic rate tax their supporters have already paid on their donations. As such agreeing to Gift Aid will increase the value of your donation by at least 25% but it won't cost you a penny more!

To donate under the Gift Aid scheme you must be a UK taxpayer and have paid sufficient tax (as income tax and/or capital gains tax) to cover the amount that will be claimed by the charity in each tax year. You must agree to using the Gift Aid scheme by ticking the Gift Aid check box by the relevant statement on the appropriate page.

Therefore please tick the box to join the Gift Aid scheme if you are eligible.

Please let us know if your tax circumstances or name/address change, so that we can update our records, by emailing

Please note

We can only claim tax on donations made from a personal bank or building society account. We cannot claim Gift Aid on donations made from company accounts.

If you pay income tax at the higher rate, you can include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self Assessment tax return if you want to receive the additional tax relief due to you.
